Mercedes AMG is said to be working on a 1300 hp hypercar with a 1000 hp 2.0 liter four cylinder and two 150 hp electric motors on the front wheels, according to German magazine Autobild via GTSpirit. The car is “rumored” to debut next year as a celebration of AMG’s 50th anniversary.
It is said that the car will be fitted with a carbon fiber monocoque, with a weight of 1300 kilograms, four wheel steering, and a design inspired by prototype race cars. It sounds a lot like Aston Martin and Red Bull’s hypercar collaboration, the AM RB 001.
Rumor you said? 😉
